The Beetroot Witness

The Beetroot Witness is a large expressive portrait built from dense black space, hot beetroot reds, acid greens, electric blues and raw, graphic lines. The face looks directly at the viewer, as if assembled from memory, pressure and sudden flashes of color. Its mood is intense and alive: playful, wounded, urban and ceremonial at the same time. The work combines painterly gesture with street-art energy. Thick black contours hold together a restless inner architecture of marks, drips, symbols and fractured facial features.
